Felicity Fire and the Forever Key – a whimsical magical read

Do you ever wish you could go back to your childhood? That magical time where anything was possible and all you had to do was imagine it. From pirates and cowboys to princesses and knights, a child’s imagination is such a precious thing.

This book brings back that childhood magic and more.

Felicity Fire and the Forever Key by Leon Mitchell is a story all about one girl’s quest to save a magical kingdom whilst also finding her way home. It is a story of overcoming obstacles, bravery and teamwork.

The main character, Felicity is having a rough time at school, and one day she is confronted by a gang of kids who are threatening to hurt her. She runs as fast as she can and eventually comes across an old antiques shop. As she pushes the door open she discovers a key, which just so happens to fit a door within the shop.

However this key is special, its magical and opens a door to another realm. In true Alice in Wonderland style she falls into this new world and must venture forth to find her way home and back to her family.

This whimsical, fun filled adventure of a story will take you  right back to the days of the never ending story and the Wizard of Oz.

With dragons, talking mushrooms, a magical cloud and so much more it certainly doesn’t lack for imagination or magic. In fact, you might find yourself getting lost in forever land and discovering a sliver of that magical imagination that you had as a child.

As the story progresses the magic and fantasy themes ramp up and the creatures and characters you meet are all fascinating. My personal favourite is Magic, the sentient cloud who plays a bigger role than you would expect for basically a bundle of gas.

This is great for any age, whether young or just a kid at heart. It reminds me of the days of playing in the street with friends, watching VHSs, and eating cereal just to get the toy in the bottom of the box. The days of innocence, of magic and exploration.

Do I have a magical key? Sadly no..do I wish I had a magical key, heck yes!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – a wonderful story full of whimsy, magic and adventure, highly recommend!
