This was another Netgalley read I was gifted in exchange for an honest review. My usual genres at the moment have been thrillers, romance or fantasy so I thought I would try something a bit different. So without further ado let’s have a bit of a blurb: Blurb When aspiring novelist Christopher Flinders drops outContinue reading “Book Review – The Editor’s Wife by Clare Chambers”
I must admit I haven’t read his first novel, House in the Cerulean Sea. However I have heard so many good things about that novel and so I jumped at the chance to read and review this title through Netgalley. Needless to say I am now biting at the bit to read his previous title.Continue reading “Book Review – Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune”
This is another Netgalley arc I was given in exchange for an honest review. So here we go… The Perfect Nanny initially attracted me as it sounded like an intriguing suburban thriller which I love. There is just something so satisfying reading about rich people getting karma, their just desserts, or maybe that’s just me.Continue reading “Book Review – Perfect Nanny by Karen Clarke and Amanda Brittany”
Having recently read Shadow and Bone and loved it I was keen to jump into the next one as soon as possible. Blurb: Hunted across the True Sea, haunted by the lives she took on the Fold, Alina must try to make a life with Mal in an unfamiliar land, all while keeping her identityContinue reading “Book Review – Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo”
This is another book gifted to me by givemethedeets and Imogene Nix in return for an honest review. If you have been reading my previous reviews or posts on Instagram you will see I am a big fan of Imogene’s Blood Secrets trilogy and so I jumped at the chance to review this one. ThisContinue reading “Book Review – Curse Bound by Imogene Nix”
Firstly, apologies for the late review, I read this before Christmas but things got in the way so have fallen behind with the reviews. But on the plus side it means you can expect plenty more reviews soon!!
Parcival and co are back! This time they are on a quest to seek down the 7 shards of the Siren. But unlike the first quest they don’t know what the end reward is. I loved Ready Player One so I couldn’t wait for the sequel and I wasn’t disappointed.
Just a quick post to say Happy Publication day to Going Green by Nick Spalding and A Mistake Incomplete by Lorenzo Petruzziello. These are both great reads and I highly recommend them. Check out my reviews of both of these in the reviews section. These are both available on Amazon and would make great ChristmasContinue reading “Happy publication day!!”
