How would you react if you suddenly found out you had a half sister you never knew about? Me, I would be pretty shocked especially as I am one of 5 siblings already but I don’t think I would have been as shocked as the main character, Ava who believed she was an only childContinue reading “The Sister Surprise by Abigail Mann”
I received this book through a giveaway on Bookstagram from the wonderful @bristolianbooks and let me start by saying I am so glad I entered and won!! This is the first in the series and I must admit before receiving this book I hadn’t really heard much about the series. But I was intrigued afterContinue reading “Book Review – Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo”
This was a book I have had on my shelf for YEARS, and never got round to it. It always sounded interesting but I just never picked it up. Parcival and co are back! This time they are on a quest to seek down the 7 shards of the Siren. But unlike the first quest they don’t know what the end reward is. I loved Ready Player One so I couldn’t wait for the sequel and I wasn’t disappointed.

This is the time whenContinue reading “Can reading ever be bad for you? Lockdown, books and mental health.”
This is the first of, hopefully, many indie authors I am reviewing for my site. Girl Erased is the latest novel by Gemma Donoghue. So without further ado let’s have a bit of an overview: Blurb: Lily Johnson is always there. But no one sees her. Because she is invisible. Silent. Unnoticed.
