This is where you will find all the book reviews I have done.
Its time for another Netgalley review, this time its The Lock In by Phoebe Luckhurst which is out tomorrow (22nd July) The Lock In is mostly set over one day, or to be exact one consecutive period of time when a group of housemates (and one of the housemate’s date) becomes locked in the atticContinue reading “Book Review – The Lock In by Phoebe Luckhurst”
What do you get if you mix Sex and the City with Derry Girls combined with the humour of Mrs Brown’s Boys? Well you get something like The Troubles With Us.
I read this as part of a buddy read and it is one I have wanted to read for a while. I read Of Mice and Men as part of my school studies many many years ago and I found I really enjoyed it and liked Steinbeck’s writing style so I thought I would giveContinue reading “Book Review – Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck”
I love a good thriller and I must admit it has been a while since I have read one. So I was honoured when Red Dog Press invited me to take part in this book tour. Far From The Tree is the first novel in Rob Parker’s Thirty Miles trilogy and is set in Warrington,Continue reading “Book Tour – review of Far From The Tree by Rob Parker”
This is another review of a Netgalley book I read recently. The review is a little late as the book is already out but I had to read it as it is by the wonderful Amanda Prowse, an author I reviewed earlier on in the year and loved called An Ordinary Life. It was aContinue reading “Book Review – Waiting to Begin by Amanda Prowse”

That is until a chance encounter in the library she works at, when everything changes and love may well be back on the cards.
This is another book I received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. So without further ado, let’s have a bit of a blurb: From the outside, everyone might think Fern and Rose are as close as twin sisters can be: Rose is the responsible one and Fern is the quirky one. But theContinue reading “Book Review – Good Sister by Sally Hepworth”
I read this book almost straight after the Shadow and Bone trilogy which I loved. So I was on a bit of a book high and so there was a lot riding on the next grishaverse book series, Six of Crows. This book takes us to the seedy, dark, criminal underworld of Ketterdam. We meetContinue reading “Book Review – Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo”
This is another Netgalley book I was gifted in exchange for an honest review. I was looking for something a bit more romantic and a bit more easy going to read and I came across this one. It initially grabbed me as it reminded me of the amazing song by The Fray which has theContinue reading “Book Review – How to Save a Life by Eva Carter”
