Book Review – An Island Christmas by Jenny Colgan

Firstly, apologies for the late review, I read this before Christmas but things got in the way so have fallen behind with the reviews. But on the plus side it means you can expect plenty more reviews soon!!

I love Jenny Colgan’s books, they are always great if you want a cosy, loved up read and this one did not disappoint.

This time we are transported to the small Scottish Island called Mure. A bleak, quiet place but also a beautiful location. The description of the island made me want to be there, I have always wanted to see Scotland and this has only increased that desire.

The story follows Flora and her boyfriend, Joel as they venture through the drama and events of Christmas. I don’t want to spoil anything but I do need to warn you, this is not just your typical cosy, festive read, you will need your tissues.

If you are looking to extend your festive feeling or are on the lookout for next year’s festive read i highly recommend this book. It has love, drama, plenty of Christmas vibes and so many cozy moments to snuggle up with.

Have you read this book? What did you think?

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and even if it may not have been the one you were hoping for, I hope it was still special.

Much love 💘
